The Town were at home on Saturday to Cherhill in a Calne and District League match and won by 4 goals to 1. The game was very even for most of the first half, W.J. Ogbourne giving the Town the lead just before the interval.
Immediately after the resumption Cherhill obtained an equaliser, but firther goals were scored for the Town by H. Clarke (from a penalty), S. Titcombe and W.J. Ogbourne, the latter's shot going into the goal off L.W. Chequers.
