The Town were the visitors to Chippenham Congregationals on Saturday in a Calne and District League match, and the teams were evenly matched. At the interval neither side had scored, but after five minutes' play in the second half, W. J. Ogbourne gave the Town the lead. Twenty-five minutes later the home side egualised, but W. J. Ogbourne again put the Town ahead. It was almost time when the Congregationals got on terms, and the game thus ended in draw of 2 goals each. It was considered to be one of the best games seen on the Congregationals' ground this season.

The Town will visit Calne Trinity in a Calne and District League match tomorrow and their team will be: F. Emery; A.S. Beale and H. Clarke; W.G. Hunt, E. Tull and A. Compton; F. Selman, W.J. Ogbourne, L.W. Chequers, S. Titcombe and W. Sandell.
