The Calne and District League match at Clyffe Pypard on Saturday saw the home team outplayed by Wootton Bassett, who won by 9 goals to 1. The scorers for the Town were Titcombe (3), Sandell (3), Taylor (2), and A.W. Clarke.
The Town's first eleven will entertain Derry Hill in a Calne and District League match tomorrow and the team will be: F. Emery; A.S. Beale and H. Clarke; E. Evans, E. Tull and A. Compton; R. Lewis, L.W. Chequers, J. Norris, H.O. Morris and W. Sandell.
