Wootton Bassett Town had a field day on Saturday. Calne Trinity were the visitors in a Calne and District League fixture, and were beaten by 9 goals to 1. The Town had the wind behind them in the first half, and acored five times through R. King, S. Titcombe, W. Ogbourne, M. Titcombe and H. Clarke,

In the second half Calne did not improve, and the Town added four goals through M. Titcombe, L. W. Chequers, W. Ogbourne and F. Selmen. In the closing minutes Wiltshire netted for the visitors.

Tomorrow the Town will entertain Honeystreet in the fifth round (divisional final) of the Wilts Junior Cup and the team will be: F. Emery; A.S. Beale and H. Clarke; E. Evans, E. Tull and A. Compton; F. Selman, L.W. Chequers, M. Titcombe, S. Titcombe and W. Sandell.
