This was a game the team was never going to lose but saying that they should have not taken the game to lightly either. The lads should have used this game to get their passing skills going for their Cup Final this Saturday.

The game started off and you could see straight away some of the lads were messing around and not treating this game seriously. Yes we scored 2 goals in the 1st 4 minutes but after that we just started to kick the ball up field and chased it and every time the keeper was getting to it first. That's what we told the team not to do, as previously said to them we need to get the ball out wide and let the wingers do their job and get the ball into the middle for the midfield or the strikers to score.

Going into half time we were 5 nil up and should have been more like ten but as I said that's how the team were performing in the 1st half and playing nothing like they should have been. Again after another chat with them they came out for the 2nd half a totally different team, the ball was passed round, switching from side to side, out to the wings and now that's the team we all know, and now they were looking ready for the Cup Final against Greenmeadow.

Chances came and went and the goals started to creep up now, we needed 11 clear goals to go back on top of the league by goal difference, and the team played very well in the second half and by full time the lads managed to score 14 goals without conceding so well done to them.

The goal scorers today were Jake 3, Callum 2, Jonathan 2, Grant 2, Ryan 1, Nashie 1, Jack 1, Nick 1 & Kieran 1.

Overall a poor 1st half but a great 2nd half, so keep going lads not long now till the end of the season, the finishing post is nearly there with our name on the league trophy.
