The second match was a much tighter affair with Bassett eventually losing by the only goal of the match. Despite the defeat it was an excellent performance by Bassett against a side who had a lot more experience of playing as a team. Robert Leighfield. George Drewitt and Daniel Strange had particularly good games for Bassett. It was an enjoyable afternoon for all the children and parents, all of whom looked forward to the next match with excitement.
