Jack Holder went for a shot within minutes of the game starting. Raisham was in the right place at the right time to catch a ball on the head,it sent him flat on his back side, but sent the ball in the right direction! he got up with a big grin on his face and was cheered on by the supporters. Adam took a fantastic header towards the goal which just tipped over the top. Had it gone in it would be one to remember. Marshall was doing well with his constant enthusiasm, running the length of the pitch with vigour. Sid was on his usual form, leaping from side to side adamant they were not going to get one past him and grinning with every held ball. Jack Holder was persistent in his play and took a hard shot which was body blocked by Croft defence.

Nat was on form regardless of his position on pitch, taking quite a lot of punishment (including being winded) with body blocks. But he stood firm in the line of fire. Tom was versatile, determined and taking chances whenever he could. It wasn't all our way, and defence had to work hard. Jamie defended well and was often quick to position himself in Crofts way. Jack Timbrell did well and stood his ground and took no messing.Some well timed tackles and good decisions. Tom was taken down and Adam took the penalty. It was a fantastic shot, but hit the cross bar.

At half time we had kept them working as hard as we were. 0-0 In the second half we had more of the same. Raisham put in some good effort and worked well with Marshall and Nat. The team work was great with accurate passing resulting in two goals in a relatively short space of time. One each for Nat and Marshall. We were still giving our all. but time was running out, and Croft slipped one in. 2-1 A hard game well played. Well done lads, it was great to watch.
