Both teams came out with Determination and high spirits.

Our goalie Josh was put to the test right from the start as Highworth took a shot at every opportunity. Within ten minutes Highworth had succeeded in getting one past him.

Our defence in the form of Jamie, Jack and D.J stepped up their game and began to block the attacks well. We then had some fine runs, one resulting in a precise pass by Raisham to Marshall who popped casually into the net.Some more fine shots but to no avail.

Then a run of mishaps led to Highworth taking the lead by 3-1, and within a short space of time to 4-1.

With heads held high and still giving the game all they had, Adam took a shot from just past the halfway line to score a marvellous goal.

Todays game would favour the implementation of Goal Line Technology and on reflection the score does not do justice to the team spirit,effort and game played.
