Within 15 minutes of the game starting Adam scored a fantastic first goal for Wootton Bassett.The lads were in fantastic spirits.

This was followed very quickly by an effortless run by Marshall up the wing where he took a shot at goal which was took slightly wide due to the high wind. Fortunately Raisham was well placed and managed to just tip the ball in to the goal to the surprise of the Fairford Goalie.

The third goal also came from Raisham who once again managed to be in the right place at the right time. Bringing the score to 3-0. The team were on a real high and still playing with energy and enthusiam. Fairford began to gain momentum and had a good run ending in a hard shot on target, but Josh was ready and on good form so saved the ball.

By the end of the first half Wootton Bassett were the stronger team and were making Fairford work hard for any possession. Wootton Bassett's defence were working well and not letting Fairford get to the box.

Second half started and we came out wanting the win to be bigger and better. We had some great play and good shots from Jack Holder, Raisham and Nat. The Fairford goalie was worked hard, ten minutes into the second half and Jack Holder scored.4-0

A well timed run by Fairford finally caught us off guard as they ran through our defence and took a shot which resulted in a well deserved goal. It didn't take long for Wootton Bassett to make another dash towards goal and Jack Holders persistence paid off when he scored again. 5.0

Finally in the closing minutes we had one final surge of energy with Adam scoring to make the result 6-1. A well earned win.
