What a fantastic start to the year. Within minutes from Kick off we were the stronger side. Precise and determined. Two minutes into the game Adam had a great run, caught the goalkeeper completly unprepared adn scored our first goal . 1-0 Three minutes and Nat decided to show us what he was capable of, taking the game to 2-0 There was little competition at this point in the game and Ashton Keynes seemed our of sorts and somewhat bewildered. Adam took advantage of this and bagged his second goal within minutes of the game. 3-0 Ashton Kenyes found themselves a little and made a run towards goal, some strong defence work from Jack T stopped them in their tracks. Nat responded with an unchallenged run resulting in his second goal of the game. 4-0 Jack Holder followed suit with a good run, but the Ashton goalie managed to save this one. Marshall's hard work and determination paid of with a lovely shot. 5-0 Raisham now wanted to try his luck, his first shot was punched out by the goalie, but he punted the re-bound straight back past him. We were on a roll. It was half time and we were 6-0 up

SECOND HALF Ashton Keynes came on with a fighting spirit and determination that should be admired considering the score. We had to work harder to keep the ball, and for the majority of the second half no goals were scored. Ashton Keynes worked harder in defence and consequently gave Jamie and Jack T in our defence more of a run, but they rose to the challenge. Josh was on form,a saving any shots Ashton Keynes fired at him. We had some more good individual runs and shots, more passing would have made for a tidier game ,with fewer scrabbles and mistakes. However towards the end of the seond half this improved and we had a spell of fantastic passing between Raisham,Jack Holder, Nat and Marshall which resulted in a lovely goal from Marshall. 7-0 Marshall kept this up making a lovely cross for Nat who got his third. 8-0 Adam decided his game was far from over when he drove the ball, seized the moment and scored his third of the game, making the final score 9-0 It was a fantastic result, with two great hat tricks and a clean sheet for Josh,
