From the first kick we were determined to win the game. In not time at all we were heading down the Robins end and firing shots when ever we could. We were well matched to the Robins and they were clearly out for a win too, making all our players work including Josh who made some great decisions and saves. From the sidelines it was really gripping stuff. In the first half our play was fantastic. Planned and precise passing, communication and great team work. We had endless shots at goal and kept their goalkeeper on his toes. We were really unlucky not to get any in.

The second half started with exactly the same conviction. We were firing shots at all angles after skillfull runs and passes. Marshall had a great run battling through thier defence and made a beautiful cross straight into the back of the net. 1-0 This was shortly followed by Nat making a lovely shot and taking us to 2-0. The Robins were not giving in and found a small kink in our amour and scored. 2-1 There is little I can say except what a fabulous game we played today. Not every player has got a mention this week, this is because there is not one player that could have been singled out as having a great game, or a great run, a great shot etc, because individually all the lads played great giving 100%, never giving up and they just kept running. This was a real Team win!! Well done everyone and lets give Greenmeadow some of the same.
