The Boscombe Down Airmen gained a narrow victory over Wootton Bassett Town and "fly" to the top of the table.

The previous week's North Wilts Herald (6 November) had noted that the selected team had been: C.R. Waite; H.C. Page, F.C.W Drury; R.W. Brown, H. Clark, J.G. Fry; F. Childs, F.F. Perry, A. Embling, S. Gleed, R.J. Beazley.
