Swindon's Wiltshire League representatives were both successful on Saturday. The Corinthians did as the Victoria had done a fortnight earlier by winning 3-2 at Wootton Bassett, while the Vics visited the Airmen of Netheravon and won by two goals to nil.

Wootton Bassett went near to holding the Corries to a draw for it was not until four minutes from the end that Oakden scored the winning goal for the Swindon club. Oakden and Wooster scored the other goals for the Corries while Embling and Drury (penalty) replied for Wootton Bassett.

The Town receive a visit from Warminster in a Wilts League match tomorrow and the selected team is: C.R. Waite; H.C. Page, F.C.W. Drury; R.W. Brown, F.C.W. Drury (sic), J.G. Fry; F. Childs, F.F. Perry, L. Smith, S. Gleed, R. Beazley.
