Table topping Ardley United may have secured three more points in their quest for the Hellenic Premier Division title, but Dave Turner's Wootton Bassett Town ensured they had to work extremely hard for their 2-0 triumph at Rylands Way.
Bassett were thumped 4-0 in the first fixture between the two sides this season, but refused to roll over for their Oxfordshire opponents this time. Yet Bassett's stiff resistance was unfortunately not enough.
