The semi final of the cup was a little one sided after we scored the first goal as Chippenham only had 6 players available on the day and we were in fine form!

It took around 15 minutes to break Chippenham as their goalkeeper was having a great game saving everything that we threw at him! And with their defending strong we could seem to break them down until Adam to a shot from the edge of the box which slipped through the unlucky keepers hands and over the line.

Despite being a man down Chippenham had a chance to equalize when their attacker managed to pounce on a loose ball and headed toward goal but put his shot wide. We scored a second right on half time when Nat was fouled inside the area and the ref pointed to the spot which Adam duly dispatched,

The second half was all Bassett as we pushed forward with wave after wave of attack and Nat scored two quick goals to make it 4-0. Adam then got a third to make it a hat trick before Marshall and JT scored two each to round off the scoring.

Oliver was unlucky not to get on the score sheet with a few shots and he had one menacing run almost the length of the pitch but the Chippenham keeper pulled off two fantastic saves to deny him!

Although Jack Holder didnt get on the score sheet he set up 5 of the goals so well done to him and well done Josh for keeping a clean sheet.

Credit to Chippenham who worked hard and didnt give up for the whole game.
