Another entertaining game with two evenly matched teams playing some nice football. We started well with some nice passing, Jack Holder and Adam seeing plenty of the ball trying to create an opening. But Robins defended well and didn't give us a sight of goal. We were enjoying most of the play but got caught on the break when the wide man collected the ball and drove towards our goal. He hit a powerful shot low and the power of the shot beat the unfortunate Josh at the near post.

We pushed back looking for an equalizer and again had lots of possession but could not get that lucky break. Adam fired at goal but a brave defensive header got in the way and Nathaniel volleyed wide from a corner. But it finally came when Jack Holder made himself some space and fired a shot which looked to be going in but was helped into the far corner of the net off of the top of a defenders head and over the keeper.

But we fell asleep and went behind again soon after when Robins had a good passing move and the finish was clinical. Nat and Jack H were making some good runs but were unable to get a shot away as Robins were defending really well and crowding them out.

Second half and Jamie moved into midfield and instigated a great move when he did some nice skill and passed to Jack Holder but his ball in was cleared. We were then on the back foot defending for longer periods, Oliver and JT staying strong but Robins did hit the post and Josh denied them a third when he came off his line and smothered the ball just in time.

As we pushed on the final ball just wouldn't come. Adam and Jack had a chance to strike at goal but both wanted the ball on their left foot when a right foot would have hit the ball first time.

We managed to find the important equalizer almost on the final whistle when Marshall waltzed his way round two players, then managed to beat the defender inside the area and with just the keeper to beat he kept his composure and placed the ball into the corner. The other lads all celebrated what felt like a winning goal to earn us a hard fought point.
