Improvement needed

Today's performance from the boys lacked heart and didn't often play as a team, but there were some brilliant plays between the lads at times. The first half started very scrappy, with Shaw having a lot of possession but the Bassett defence came through and played very well as a unit. After 15 minutes in, with Shaw having a lot of possession, the game started to swing in Bassett's favour, with some good attacking play, especially from Tasker and Mooney. Bassett's best attack of the half came just before half time, when a through ball to Mooney from Paish, allowed a great volley on goal, but unfortunately the shot went agonizingly close and it remained 0-0. H/T 0-0

Just after half time, Bassett continued to dominate, until disaster struck. After some ball watching, a through ball was played and Shaw took the lead, after a one-on-one beat keeper Wakefield, 1-0 Shaw. Soon after, 1-0 became 2-0 due to a Shaw break when only Tyrie and Wakefield were against four Shaw players, making it 2-0. Molloy on for Little, Farrow on for Embling. Just as things couldn't get any worse, they did, when an unfortunate keeping error gave Shaw a 3-0 lead. Southern on for Tyrie. Passingham did get a consolation, after he went through 3 Shaw players, making it 3-1. F/T 1-3, Come on lads, an improvement has to be made for next week's game, today there was no commitment or heart!!!!!
