Bassett had a good start to the game with a lot of possession and some good moving on and off the ball. Bassett's first attack came from a Joel Swann shot, which was saved by the keeper. Some good work up the wing from Passingham, crossed for Mooney, who struck the post. Tasker was clean through but only good work from a Ramsbury defender stopped Bassett taking the lead. Good efforts followed from Daley and Plaistow, but soon after Swann lobbed the keeper to make it 1-0 Bassett. Swann got his second of the game, from a nice flick on to make it 2-0. Ramsbury nearly got one back but were denied by the post after Bassett's defence fell asleep. Some brave goalkeeping from Embling as he saved and held well after a Ramsbury went in with his studs showing! Good play between Tyrie and Tasker ends up with a Mooney shot going close. At half time it was 2-0 to Bassett.

Soon after the break it was 3-0 with a well-struck shot from Mooney inside the box. Straight from the kick off Bassett fell asleep and an error at the back got Ramsbury a goal to make it 3-1 However, Tasker made a great run and made it 4-1. 4-1 then became 5-1 after an attempted shot from Daley found its way to Plaistow, who got his 1st of the game. Ramsbury got another one back and made it 5-2. A pass through from Tyrie put Passingham through to then make it 6-2. Little was replaced by new boy Farrow and Molloy came on for Plaistow.

Good passing between Tasker and Passingham gave Molloy a good strike on goal, which went close. A flick on by Bartlettfrom a Tasker corner gave Mooney an easy tap in to make it 7-2. Ramsbury got another consolation to make it 7-3 but at full time it remained 7-3 to Bassett in a game in which Bassett dominated and worked well as a team! A good performance guys, keep it up!!!!!!!
