Bassett go "nap" against the R.A.F. from Boscombe Down

Wootton Bassett entertained R.A.F. (Boscombe Down) and won by five goals to one.

At the interval the Town led by a goal scored by Embling following excellent work by Drury who, as the result of an accident to his nose at his work, played outside-left.

Early in the second half Beazley put Wootton Bassett further ahead while Drury added a third after which Spence scored for the R.A.F. In the closing stages Bassett dominated the play and went "nap" through Beazley and Perry.
