The Town's first eleven concluded their programme on Thursday, and, as winners of the Vale of White Horse Cup, they met a team selected from the remainder of the clubs who had taken part in the competition. The Town, who were without C.R. Waite, did not give anything like their usual display, and were beaten by 3 goals to nil. Bunce (Purton) (2) and C. Young (Cricklade) were the scorers.
