The Town team visited Aldbourne on Saturday in a Swindon and District League match and were defeated by 5 goals to 2. Aldbourne were two up in the first ten minutes, but after 20 minutes the Town had brought the scores level through S. Titcombe and S.J. Titcombe. There were no further goals until the last quarter of an hour, when Aldbourne netted three times. H. Clarke of the Town received a painful shoulder injury and was only a "passenger" for a long period.
The Town will receive Derry Hill in the second round of the Wilts Junior Cup Competition tomorrow, and their team will be: C.R. Waite; A.S. Beale and H. Clarke; E. Evans, J. Webb and A. Compton; S.J. Titcombe, H. Bartlett, S. Titcombe, L.W. Chequers and W. Sandell. Reserve – W. Ogbourne
