Both the Town teams were defeated on Saturday. The first eleven journeyed to Pewsey for a Swindon and District League (Division IIA) match, and a fine game ended in a win for the home side by 5 goals to 3. Pewsey took the lead at the end of ten minutes' play, but W.J. Ogbourne equalised soon afterwards. The home side again took the lead from a penalty, and for the second time the Town drew level through Bartlett, but just before the interval Pewsey secured the lead. They scored two more goals in the second half, and with only a few minutes to go W.J. Ogbourne netted for the Town.
