The Town team were defeated for the first time since October on Saturday, when they met Colbourne's Athletic in a Swindon and District League match. The Athletic started off at a great pace and held a 2-0 lead at the end of 15 minutes play. Wootton Bassett reduced the arrears when Chequers scored in the last few minutes of the match and the result was: Colbourne's Athletic 2 Wootton Bassett 1.
The Town's team to visit Ogbourne United in a Swindon and District League match tomorrow will be: C.R. Waite; A.S. Beale and L.W. Chequers; W. Ogbourne, J. Webb and A. Compton; S.J. Titcombe, H. Bartlett, S. Titcombe, W.J. Ogbourne and W. Sandell.
