The Town, owing to team-raising difficulties, could only send a weakened eleven to meet Ogbourne United in a Swindon and District League match on Saturday. After putting up a good fight they were defeated by 3 goals to 1. W.J. Ogboune scoring for the Town.
The Town's team will entertain Colbourne's Athletic in a Swindon and District League match tomorrow, their team will be: C.R. Waite; L.W. Chequers and R. Beazley; W. Ogbourne, E. Tull and J.G. Fry; H. Bartlett, W.J. Ogbourne S. Titcombe, F.Munns and S.J. Titcombe.
