For the first time this season the Town team concluded their game without any injuries on Saturday when they passed into the third round of the Wilts Junior Cup competition as the result of a 5-0 victory over Derry Hill. They gained a two-goal lead within three minutes of the start, the scorers being S. Titcombe and L.W. Chequers. After 18 minutes S. Titcombe put the Town further ahead and in the second half they got two more goals through J. Webb (from a penalty) and S. Titcombe, who thus completed his "hat trick". Southwood, the Derry Hill goalkeeper, played a fine game, and certainly saved his side from a heavier defeat. Mr R. Cooper, the ex-Swindon Town player, controlled the game admirably.

The Town will receive a visit from Marlborough Town in a Swindon and District League match tomorrow, and their team will be: C.R. Waite; A.S. Beale and H. Clarke; E. Evans, J. Webb and A. Compton; S.J. Titcombe, H. Bartlett, S. Titcombe, L.W. Chequers and W. Sandell.
