2 very even teams battled out a good 2:2 draw today. Chiseldon were the better team in the first half and went in 1 nil up. It looked like we would struggle to get back into the game but that's exactly what we did in the 2nd half.

Our midfield began to dominate and were winning every 50:50 challenge. Joe was a constant threat up front and we soon equalised from a corner with George finishing well be smashing the ball into the back of the net. Hadley then slotted home from the edge of the area to give us the lead.

A third goal would have been much more comfortable but despite our chances, just wouldn't come. First Joe went on a mazy run, beating 3 defenders with superb close control; but with just the keeper to beat he pushed his shot wide of the post. Another chance was finished by Hadley but Joe was penalised for a handball and the goal didn't stand.

Chiseldon equalised after some more disappointing defending from another throw-in, but in all honesty a draw was probably a fair result. Joe was this week's man of the match as, despite not scoring he led the line superbly and impressed both the referee and opposing manager. Well done Joe.
