Another good win for the team today in a very tight game. Supermarine started well and we had to defend for much of the first half. We had a few chances but never really threatened and Supermarine went in at half time looking the most likely team to score.

We looked a lot better in the second half after we strengthened at the back. Supermarine still looked quite dangerous but we were beginning to create opportunities ourselves with some good interplay with Joe, Daniel, Hadley and George. Our defence were coping much better and Nick and Josh came on and cut out lots of Supermarine moves.

The match was still in the balance though, with both teams looking for the breakthrough. This finally came when Hadley went down the left wing and put in a lovely ball to Joe whose first touch was excellent and his swivel shot found the bottom corner!

We managed to hold on to the win with some solid defending and assured goalkeeping. It was the clean sheet that won us the game so Ashley was named as man of the match.
