All square in last home game of the season

Our last home match of the season saw us entertain White Horse Juniors from Calne and ended in a very fair 2-2 draw.

The match was very even all the way through as both teams played some very good passing football as they tried to get in front.

We had moved Ryosuke into midfield in place of the rested Euan and he was at the heart of all our good passing moves, which was a pleasure to watch for our fans.

As usual our defence of Lewis and Alanah was very solid against the very quick White Horse forwards and when they were breached Conor was alert to dispel the threat.

Half Time 0-0

We kicked down the slope in the 2nd half and changed the formation, playing two up front as we searched for the breakthrough.

Before we had got used to the new formation we went behind, as our very good referee adjudged that Conor didn't have control of the ball in 2 hands as the forward poked the ball in from close range.( Malc still doesn't agree this mind you ).

As so often this season we immediately hit back within 2 minutes as Ben Sarachi capitilised on some good hold up play by Matthew Nicholls and ran through and finished very well for his 4th goal of the season.

The play then switched from end to end as both teams went in search of regaining the lead and a mistake from Harrison allowed that to happen, as he left the ball from a corner and it was drove into the net.

With 5 minutes remaining we got our 2nd equaliser in unusual circumstances, Conor had made a fantastic double save and the ball travelled into the White Horse half off his legs to Callum Bridges, who ran through and found the back of the net with his 3rd goal of the season.

Player of the Match: Alanah Edwards who defended superbly and lived up to the "Tiger" nickname that she has been given since coming to us.
