If you were to look at the score line you would have thought that this was a comfortable win, but you couldn't be more mistaken as this was a much closer game than the 3-0 score line showed.

We started the game quite brightly, with a flowing move ending with George forcing the keeper to push his shot onto the post and out for a corner. Our only other chance in the first half was a long-range shot from Euan going narrowly past the goal.

Liden played very well in the first half and their 2 forwards gave us more problems than any team have done this season with their skills and pace a constant threat.

Several times we were indebted to Conor in our goal, as he made save after save from good efforts from the Liden players and when he was beaten the ball just went past the post.

Half Time: 0-0

The second half meant we were kicking down the slope and we went in front when Callum scored with a shot from just outside the area after a good run 5 minutes into the half, for his first goal of the season.

The ball went from end to end as both sides went in search of goals before Harrison scored our 2nd goal with virtually the same run and finish that Callum had done for our first goal, and his first goal of the season.

We seemed to be now winning more of the tackles than at any time of the match and with 5 minutes to go Ben scored our 3rd goal beating the goalie from close range after the ball had broken kindly for us, in doing so scoring his 3rd goal of the season.

This was another good win against a very good side who can count themselves very unlucky to have been beaten by 3 goals, but it again shows how far we have come in such a short time as we scored 3 very good goals.

Player of the Match: Conor Chivers who was unbeatable in goal, he made lots of excellent saves to keep us in the match in the first half and kicked superbly for the whole match.
