In a game where the pitch had overgrown grass in places and bare in another part and loads of divets the game went well for us. It took a little while to get going but once we started we did not look back. With the usual keeper not being there we had Neil in for most of the game with Chopper for the last 10 mins or so. Getting to the football which matters, even though the game was not a hard game, bassett still had to play and get their minds right. To be frank the the quality of the passing and the shots we had the other team did not get a look in bar 1 shot and that went in so that's a bit worrying. There was so much effort put into the team today I could go on and on about it! but I have not enough room for it but as usual Jack played 110% and scoring 1 ,Nick 5 for his efforts and chances ,Josh 3 played another good game, Ryan 4 (man of the match) with his passing and running and for Grant 5 his unselfishness giving Nick and the other lads a chance to score instead of himself was outstanding today and getting better by the game. Philip as sub came on and gave his legs a good work out and made some good runs along with good crossing and Chopper in defence was sound and kept busy so overall a good display from the team .
