Pleasing 6-0 home win over Ramsbury

Considering the resent weather, the pitch was of a reasonably good standard.

The first-half started with the best possible outcome, a goal within 3 minutes. Ryan Amos got on the end of a good pass, with the use of his quick feet managed to turn the keeper and slot into an open net. After that Ramsbury pilled on the pressure and caused Bassett some worrying times, goal keeper and man of the match Ellis Embling kept us in the game with some good saves breaking down the Ramsbury attacks. The next goal came from a great shot from Josh Shama, which the Ramsbury keeper, who was having a good game, spilled only to the feet of Nick Buckle. Straight as Ramsbury kicked off Bassett won the ball and gave it out to Josh Shama who, much like the second goal, took a shot that the Ramsbury keeper couldn't hold, this time Ryan Amos was on hand for his second goal of the game. Just before the half-time whistle Josh Shama got the goal that he was waiting for and Bassett went in 4 – 0 up.

In the Second half Bassett made a few changes and the pressure continually built up on Ramsbury. A great ball to Grant White set him off on a run one on one with the keeper, he unselfishly laid the ball to Neil Little for a tap in into the open net. Ryan Amos was not finished yet and before the end managed to grab his hat trick and finish the game off with a pleasing 6 – 0 result. Jack Brain put in his usual 110% effort along with Phillip Wardall, Harry "Chopper" Hazard and Cole Embling.
