Bassett win easily without recognised goalkeeper

In a game of which WBTFC had no goalkeeper we as a team still managed to win and not concede any goals.

Grant in the first half played in goal and to be fair he had only a couple of loose balls to pick up and that sums up his game in the first half. The defence of Nick (1) (man of the match) and Chopper (2) were always in control if any attack that came their way to protect the new goalkeeper. At times Bassett play was excellent in the passing department and it was good to see the ball switching from side to side and for the new lad Neil getting stronger by the game and for his efforts scoring 2.

One of the best goals came from Nick in the 2nd half he took the ball from his own area and ran all the way through unleashing an unstoppable drive in the bottom corner.

Ryan as striker played very well today his passing was top form and his effort in running was there to be seen and scoring as well via a deflection .if it was not for their goalkeeper Fraser his score would have been 4 or5 and for the match it would have been 15 or 16 for the team .Jack ,Joshua & Phillip (sub) did there usual game of non stop running for the team with Joshua in goal second half Philip came close on scoring and Jack getting his reward for his play, of scoring 1, the team was looking good for the next round of the cup. (semi-final).
