One of the best team performances of the season

One of the best team performances I have seen, and another commanding and well deserved win! With Cricklade fielding players from the first game, this win was even more impressive. A special hat-trick for Reece Postill, and an excellent performance from Sean Miles, scoring our first goal, and an excellent performance in the sticks for the second half.

Impossible to pick out one individual, but the following and above players all deserve credit and a mention for their performance:

Rebecca Packwood (who is a serious asset to any future Girls team), first class performance and was more than a match for any boy on the field! Improving all the time, a strong left foot and excellent vision with her passing.

Daniel Payne, best game to date! Battled hard all game and made several telling passes - a joy to watch.

Rhys Jones, Mr Consistent! Yet again another outstanding game, he commanded as goalkeeper in the first half, and was instrumental in the second, well done.

Adam Topping, never put a foot wrong in defence, and played excellent in midfield, up-and-coming very strong player.

Jonathan Salazar, was very unlucky not to score, and is looking strong - always try's to play football.

Mentions also for Dale Johnstone, who is improving week by week. Robbie Pampillion - best performance to date. Ian Hunt - another strong game and big improvement this season.
