Wootton Bassett Town remain in fourth place following a narrow win away at Croft. Croft scored with their first two attacks to lead 2-0 after five minutes through two goals from Sam Elwell. Bassett pulled a goal back when Phil Tearle scored direct from a corner to make it 2-1 at the break. Tom Marchment then put Bassett on level terms almost immediately after the break when he volleyed in a corner from Josh Dimond. Sam Higginbottom put Bassett in front with a volley from the edge of the box, although Croft felt that a free kick should have been given for handball in the build up. Croft bounced back immediately s Danny Horwood hit a stunning strike into the top corner of the net. Bassett regained the lead with a header from Dan Strange and, despite a lot of pressure from Croft, held out for all three points.
