Kingsdown dropped a place when they were held 2-2 at home against fifth played Wootton Bassett Town. Kingsdown had taken the lead before the break only to find themselves pegged back within two minutes of the restart when Michael Weaving got on the end of a superb pass from man of the match Phil Tearle to put Bassett on level terms. With the wind behind them in the second half Bassett squandered a number of simple chances and then saw Kingsdown go back in front courtesy of a quick break that was finished in style. Just as it looked as though Kingsdown would secure all three points from an entertaining game, Bassett equalised with a last minute free kick from Jonny Aitkenhead from 20 yards to share the points.
