On Sunday, in a close game at Maunsell Way against Wroughton 'B', Shahidir Chokdar put Wroughton in front with a powerful shot from outside the box only to see Wootton Bassett come back to lead 2-1 at the break through goals from Tom Marchment and Phil Tearle.

With the wind behind them in the second half Wroughton made the visitors pay for a number of missed chances with an equaliser almost immediately following a long kick from keeper Ben Goodey. Wroughton then clinched a winner in almost identical circumstances as the Bassett defence allowed the ball to bounce on the edge of their box. Chokdar with his second of the game and Jamie Hicks the Wroughton B scorers.
