Good win at North Leigh

We finally got to play North Leigh in the knowledge that with the first team playing them at home we at last faced a reserve team and not the usual mix of first team players we have faced for the last two seasons and we came away with a deserved victory.

The game didn't start to brightly and we went behind as early as the 5th minute, but to the players credit we continued to try and play football on a wet but good pitch and were rewarded when "Moses" scored a deserved equalizer after a fine flowing move to make the half time score 1-1.

The second half saw us kicking up the slope and we went in front when Ashley Bradshaw smashed the ball home from the edge of the box to open his goalscoring account in senior football and shortly after the ever dangerous "Moses" was crudely cut in half by the keeper and Harry Sandhu tucked the resulting penalty away and put us 3-1 up with 20 minutes to go.

As with what is now a usual occurrence we then conceded a goal with only 5 minutes left just to keep the management duo on their toes, but thankfully we held on to complete an excellent victory.
