Our second home match of the season was against another promoted side and after impressing as a second half sub last week Ashley Bradshaw was included in the starting line up. The game was very equal from the outset and looked like it was going to take either a bit of magic or a mistake to make a breakthrough as both defences were on top for the hole of the match.

Binfield fielded only one player up front and were content to play a defensive game and to try and frustrate us into a mistake but to the players credit we remained patient and following a strong run from Ashley Bradshaw which was only finished by a foul in the penalty box we took the lead when Harkit scored from the resulting penalty in the second half and our defence remained strong for the rest of the match to give us a fine win and maintain our unbeaten start.
