Our unbeaten start to the season came to an end in this match, in a game we should have won convincingly but our failure to take our chances was to be our undoing as a young Fairford side broke away and scored the winner late in the second half.

We started the game well and Mark King should have given us the lead as early as the 5th minute but got the ball stuck under his feat with the goal gaping and further chances came and went with the best one going to Justin Hyde who missed when one on one with the keeper.

The second half continued in the same vain but Fairford did look well organised at the back and very dangerous from any set piece and it was from a corner that they took the lead in the 80th minute. We then threw caution to the wind in an effort to get an equalizer and were unlucky when Millsys volley came back of the post and the player manager headed over trying to recapture old times but our efforts were to no avail and we lost our unbeaten record.
