Another defeat as Bassett don't take their chances

A classic game of two half's and a frequent experience with Wootton Bassett Under 14's. In the first half, Bassett played league leaders Stratton off the park and should have led by more than the one goal. What a goal it was too, Jonny AItkenhead firing in with a long range effort.

However, once again Bassett could not play two consecutive half's of good football and allowed the visitors back into the game soon after the first substitution. With confidence restored Stratton scored two further goals to condemn Bassett to another defeat in what is becoming a depressing season of narrow defeats. Other than Westbrook in the cup, no team has thrashed Bassett but the team do not seem to possess that winning edge so cruelly demonstrated in this match by the visitors from Swindon.
