After great start Bassett saved by late equaliser

Wootton Bassett Town got off to a great start in their game at Croft, Phil Tearle scoring two goals in the opening ten minutes. However, Ben Castillo scored for Croft midway through the first half. Bassett created a number of good chances to increase their lead but were denied by the Croft keeper. After the break it was a different game as Croft dominated the midfield, with Robert Warensjo causing all kinds of problems for Bassett down the Croft right hand flank. Midway through the half Bassett keeper Sean Toomey saved a free-kick from the edge of the box but the ball fell to Josh Goldsworthy who turned well and tucked the ball under Toomey to level the scores. Man of the match Robert Warensjo then put Croft in front with a powerful lob. Croft created a couple of further chances to extend their lead but were denied by some last gasp tackles. Against the run of play Bassett found an equaliser when Phillip Forster headed home four minutes from time.
