Royal Wootton Bassett Town booked a home tie against Lydney Town in the third round of the Hellenic League Floodlit Cup with a 2-1 away victory against Tytherington Rocks.
The margin of victory was in the end closer than it should have been, but Royal Wootton Bassett Town successfully dealt with Division One West side Tytherington Rocks to progress to the Floodlit Cup third round.
Paul Braithwaite's side had enough chances to win by a more comfortable margin than the odd goal in three.
However, Tyler Sheppard's first half opener and a second half own goal made sure that they wouldn't pay the price for that profligacy, even though the Rocks were able to get on the scoresheet with a penalty shortly after the restart.
