A second half double from Calvin Evans saw Royal Wootton Basett Town slip to a 3-1 defeat away against Thame United on their return to league action.
Royal Wootton Bassett Town failed to repeat their FA Vase heroics on their return to league duties as they fell to a 3-1 away loss at Thame United.
Bassett had been on level terms with their hosts at half time as Steve Robertson cancelled out Ben Gray's early penalty with a goal created by Sam Packer's fine through ball.
But Calvin Evans restored Thame's advantage with a left-footed curler before sealing the points for his team with a great finish.
