Bassett looked the stronger team from the start of the first half. Max was playing well as South Cerney gave Bassett room to work the ball, which allowed Max to run at their defence. South Cerney were battling well for every ball which allows them to break, South Cerney work the space well and shoot forcing Joe to make the save. Then the break through a well worked ball from Arron finds Fraser, Fraser shoots and scores.

Callum was getting stuck in and wining the ball which allowed Bassett to attack, a good header form Callum plays in Josh W, Josh runs at the South Cerney defence, Josh shoots but the shot is pushed away into the feet of Max, Max shoots but the shot is wide of the target. It's all Bassett now and South Cerney are struggling to cope with the Bassett attacks, although South Cerney do look dangerous on the break. A great ball from Sam finds Josh, Josh takes the ball around the keeper for number two. Bassett are now two up.

Still Bassett attack and South Cerney are not able to get the ball out of their own half. The ball is cleared but only as far as Dale, Dale pulls back his foot and cracks the ball high towards the South Cerney goal, the ball beats the keeper and hits the back of the net. Bassett are now three up.

Bassett attacks again and again, this brought number four for Bassett, Fraser plays a good ball to Tyler, Tyler chips the ball over the defender and shoots on his strong left foot, and finds the back of the net. Half time Bassett are leading by four goals.

The second half commenced with Scott being replaced by Jake. Again Bassett looked the stronger side, playing some very good football. South Cerney manage to break through the Bassett defence, but are forced to shoot from distance, Joe makes a save. Fraser is replaced by Tom. Again Bassett attack and this time through Josh W, Josh makes a break and plays a great ball into the feet of Sam, Sam shoots and scores, Bassett are now five up. Josh, Jake and Tom are playing well chasing every ball. It's all Bassett as the push is on for the six goal, Sam breaks through the South Cerney defence and shoots but again the shot is saved. From the goal kick Bassett attack, a good ball from Tyler finds Callum, Callum shoots but the ball fly's over the top of the cross bar. Tyler is replaced by Conner. Bassett are now pushing forward and passing the ball around well, beating the on coming South Cerney defence. Some very good football by Josh allows Josh to cross the ball, the ball finds Max who is in position A, Max taps the ball into the back of the net. Bassett are now six up.

The defence of Dale, Josh H, Regan and Jake are working hard to keep South Cerney at bay. Again Bassett attack and a good cross from Sam finds Callum, Callum shoots but the shot is just wide of the target. Jake is called into action to take what was a number of corners, the ball was stuck very well by Jake, allowing Conner to flick the ball on to Max, who again is in position A, Max shoots and scores. Bassett are now seven up.

Again Bassett attack this time through Sam, Sam beats the South Cerney defence and crosses the Ball, this time its Tom's turn to tap the ball in. Final score eight nil.
