Stratton kick off and very quickly Bassett earn a free kick which is taken by Arron and Stratton defend well but the ball is only cleared as far as Callum, Callum passes to Sam, Sam beats one player and lays the ball off to Tyler, Tyler shoots but misses the target. Stratton attack but both Regan and Jack are strong and win the ball back. Stratton play the ball over the top, but Fraser uses his head several times to clear the ball. The football was end to end, with both defences not conceding. Josh and Sam have shooting opportunities but could not find the back of the net. Stratton look dangerous as they attack, they are passing the ball around well. Then Bassett break through Josh, Josh shoots the Stratton goal keeper has to clear the ball away, the ball falls into the path of Scott, Scott shoots forcing the goal keeper to make a save. Tyler, Sam, Arron and Josh are working hard in an attempt to break down the Stratton defence which is currently strong, our passing looks good but we can,t find the finishing touch. Stratton attack down the right, and with some good passing break down our defence, they shoot but Joe saves. Both Jack and Regan are forced to cover in defence as Stratton attack, Jake puts in a strong clearance shifting the ball away from the Bassett goal mouth. Jake was forced to put his right foot through the ball on several occasions to break down the Stratton attacks. The first half was end to end football but no team could break down their opponents defence. Half time 0-0

The second half commenced with no changes to the Bassett side. Again Bassett push forward with Josh and Arron shooting very early both again missing the target. Stratton break through the middle and work some space to shoot forcing Joe to make a save. Bassett break, Fraser to Arron to Tyler, Tyler shoots saved for a corner. Callum is replaced by Michael. This game could go either way, Stratton attack forcing Josh to make a midfield clearance. Jake is replaced by Dale, Dale is straight into the action as he defends the Stratton attacks, a good clearance protects the Bassett goal. Sam is working hard up front but is not given the space to shoot, looks like its going to be a draw, and then Bassett attack and Fraser shoots but again the shot is saved. Stratton attack and Dale clears well, but they attack a second time very quickly forcing Joe to make a save. Final score 0-0.
