Today we played Hungerford Town ′B′ and although we comfortably beat them earlier in the season they are not a bad team. We started the game well and we came close to scoring in the first minute. We had a number of chances and it did not take long for Eddie to get our first goal when their goalkeeper failed to hold on to the ball. Our second goal was one of the best we have scored all season and with half a dozen passes we passed the ball from our own penalty area into their net with Max making the final pass. The score at half time was a comfortable 2-0.

Although we were winning at half time we were not at our best. After the half time team talk we started the second half more focused and it did not take Keir long to smash in his first and our third goal of game. Keir scored his second from a corner and Charlie ended a great run by smashing in our fifth. Hungerford did get a consolation goal when a goal kick went straight to one of their players who scored from long range.

A good solid team performance where we totally controlled the game and played some very good football at times. Tom and Robert were solid at the back and Jordan did well on the few occasions he was needed. Our midfield players worked hard in defence and created lots of chances for our forwards. Their goalkeeper played well and denied us several times.
