Today we played away against Croft Juniors. Charlie kicked off and started the game with a good pass to Josh. This put us on the attack where we stayed for most of the half. Cam and Ollie took good wide positions and we created lots of chances which Josh worked hard to convert. After about 5 minutes Josh scored Bassett′s first goal of the Match. On a rare break from Croft both Robert and Tom were outnumbered and Jordan saved well. Just before half time Josh had another opportunity which he took well after a good passing move involving Cam, Charlie and Ollie making the score 2-0 to Bassett at half time.

At the start of the second half Jordan swapped positions with Josh and Kier and Eddie came on as well. Eddie immediately started to control midfield and was able to pass the ball wide for Cam and Ollie who created chances for Jordan. Unfortunately none of the opportunities were clear cut and the score remained at 2-0. Halfway through the second half Max came on in left midfield and started to go past defenders at will. From a quick throw in Eddie had a long-range effort which flew into the bottom corner to make it 3-0. Kier and Charlie at the back pushed on whenever they could and Josh in goal had very little to do.

A good all round performance that enabled some of the lads who have been substitutes over the past weeks to have a full game. They all took there chance well to make selection for next weeks game even more difficult!
