This was our second league game of the season and we were away to FC Abbey Meads B.

We started the game ok but they were a strong physical team and they worked hard to close us down. We played some good football but were unable to score. Midway through the first half they forced us into an error and they scored the opening goal. We tried to get the equaliser but again we made a mistake and they hit us on the break to make it 2-0.

Just before half time we put together our best move of the half. Keir picked up the ball on the half way line and picked out Ollie with a great pass, who in turn played a great ball into the box to Max who fired it home. It was 2-1 to Abbey Meads at half time but we were very unlucky to be behind.

We started the second half determined to put things right and the introduction of Charlie at half time had a massive impact on the game. We played some fantastic football with Max on fire down the left wing and Charlie smashing in four unstoppable shots. We totally over ran them in the second half with Max scoring his second and we could have scored many more goals but their goalkeeper made some brilliant saves to deny us.

This was an excellent performance from the whole team and we showed good character to come back from being 2-0 down.
