What a contrast from the previous two games as Bassett put in an excellent performance to defeat Wroughton for the third side this season. Having also beaten then in a couple of six-a side tournaments manager Bobby Moore must be sick of the sight of us (although he has asked for another game in a couple of weeks). If only we could play as well as we do against Wroughton when playing Malmesbury! A first half penalty from William McCurrach was followed by two second half strikes from Sean Toomey and Matt Povey. The two goals in the second half both followed some excellent football. The frustrating thing with our side is the inconsistency. Hopefully we can improve on this next season.
