Royal Wootton Bassett Town Development fell to a fourth straight loss - the third in a row in which they have failed to score - as relegation threatened Shrewton United triumphed 2-0 at the Sustain Stadium.
Shrewton started the day second from bottom in the table and in much need of a win to avoid the drop.
The game remained without a goal at half time but two second half goals from James Collins saw Shrewton leave with all three points and a vital win.
For Bassett, that is now four straight defeats and with the teams at the bottom starting to pick up points they could do with a win to make sure they do not get sucked into the battle to avoid relegation.
